Project Commissioning for Sydney Trains

Another major project commissioned for Sydney Trains by TfNSW (NextRail as an IDE) at Sydney Central between 8th and 10th July ‘23. This couldn’t have happened without the collaborative approach by Sydney Trains, TfNSW, NextRail and all other stakeholders and subcontractors. JMDR was responsible for complete Signal Design, Design Integrity Testing and carrying out Commissioning Engineer’s Role. JMDR also played significant role in design, development and testing of Control Systems (ATRICS). JMDR’s Principles Tester, Senior Commissioning Manager and team were ready to book-in the job ahead of time. Congratulations and well done all.

Turnout Delivery at Ingleburn

The long awaited turnout finally made its way to our training facility and rail museum at Ingleburn (NSW) on late night of Saturday 24th June 2023. New Starter - Mitchell Bennett

Mitchell Bennett joins our NSW team as an Apprentice (Signal Electrician). He will be undergoing rigorous training program at our training centres and will be getting hands on construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance experience through our Apprentice Rotation Program with support of mentors. We look forward to Mitch working on our various Major and Renewals projects across NSW, Interstate and NZ. He will be a great addition to our team. Welcome aboard Mitch! IRSE AGM and Technical Meeting

IRSE AGM and Technical Meeting in Adelaide on 30-31 March '23. Paul Szacsvay and Trevor Moore presented two papers each on first day on various critical topics such as Responsibility, Testing and Commissioning, Management Plans, and Bringing Systems into Service and Records. Richard Mifsud and Steve Boldeman presented the paper on Risk Management and System Safety Assurance. Well done all. Significant contributions by all and a very well organised event.
