Senior Restoration Project Manager – NYC

Location: New York City (Queens preferred / NYC Boroughs considered)

Base Salary: $130,000 + Benefits + Career Growth Opportunity

FM Talent Partners is supporting a leading restoration organisation in the appointment of a Senior Restoration Project Manager to join their growing New York operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restoration professional who wants to take ownership of complex projects, work with a respected industry brand, and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

The Role

As Senior Restoration Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing high-value restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion. You will oversee project delivery, client communication, documentation, scheduling, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and professionally.

You will work closely with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage restoration projects from emergency response through final completion
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, resources, and subcontractors
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and claims records
• Work closely with insurance carriers, adjusters, and clients throughout the restoration process
• Produce accurate estimates and scopes of work using Xactimate
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and customer satisfaction expectations
• Provide leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Resolve project challenges quickly while maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• 10+ years’ experience within the restoration industry
• Proven experience managing residential and/or commercial restoration projects
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and restoration documentation
• Hands-on experience with Xactimate
• Strong understanding of mitigation, reconstruction, and restoration processes
• Experience working within the New York restoration market preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
