About the Position
As an HVAC Foreman at Dave Jones, you will take on a leadership role on the job site, overseeing HVAC installs within: Residential Remodels, Equipment installations, and some maintenance/service work. You'll be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive work environment and maintaining effective communication among team members and clients.
Compensation Details:
- $35 to 40 per hour + 1.5x OT
- PTO + Sick Days + Paid Holidays
- Company Truck + Fuel Card
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of HVAC remodels and installs, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Lead a team of technicians and apprentices, providing hands-on training and guidance to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Install new furnaces, air conditioners, remodel ductwork, coils, returns, etc.
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery, maintaining an organized and efficient job site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the HVAC field, including previous supervisory experience.
- EPA Certification
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and relevant codes.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Lift above 50lbs regularly
- Walking, Lifting, Twisting, Climbing Ladders, and other physical requirements consistently for 90% of your day
