RN - NICU / PRN

Role Overview

The position involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care in a Neonatal ICU setting, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. The nurse evaluates care effectiveness, coordinates with other departments, and maintains professional accountability for assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using nursing best practices
• Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure, meeting all licensing requirements
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds regularly; capable of standing, walking, reaching, bending, and other physical demands
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire; additional unit-specific certifications as required
