RN - Advanced Care Unit

Position Overview

Provides professional nursing care to patients, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices. Demonstrates technical proficiency with equipment, performs bedside lab testing, and ensures patient safety. Communicates effectively, advocates for patients, and promotes team collaboration to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop personalized care plans.
• Implement interventions and modify plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Document patient progress and ensure adherence to policies.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and utilize team resources.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to developmental and cultural needs.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and promote patient satisfaction.
• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• College diploma in Nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing conditions, and demonstrate professional accountability.
