Operations Specialist I

Job Summary

This position is for Raymond James Investment Management. The position involves conducting data entry, reviewing and verifying information for accuracy, and supporting operational tasks by following established processes. The role also includes maintaining files and records, ensuring positive client interactions, and assessing compliance with standards and protocols. Additionally, the position requires developing procedural or technical skills through training and coaching.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes, including adjusting basic settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
• Use standard office software to format letters, memoranda, and routine reports.
• Maintain files and records.
• Ensure a positive experience for internal clients through courteous interactions.
• Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
• Support others by carrying out basic data management tasks.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure work quality and adherence to regulatory codes and internal conduct standards.
• Develop and maintain procedural or technical skills through assessment, development planning, training, and coaching.
• Support business processes with guidance by effectively using standard office equipment and software packages.
• Use clear and effective verbal communication skills under supervision to express ideas, request actions, and formulate plans or policies.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives with guidance.
• Develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements with guidance.
• Analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision-making under supervision.
• Perform mathematical operations such as report analysis under supervision using an elementary understanding of numerical concepts.
• Develop, monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and objectives under supervision.
• Select, deploy, and achieve optimal results from the most appropriate office systems under supervision.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $18.75/hour - $25.00/hour
