Junior Data Analyst

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from various operational databases including CMMS and work order systems.
• Analyze maintenance, asset, energy, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards using tools like Power BI or Excel.
• Provide actionable insights from operational data to support facilities and operations teams.
• Monitor data quality, investigate reporting discrepancies, and assist with forecasting maintenance workloads and resource utilization.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for management and operational stakeholders.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, operations support, facilities management, HVAC, maintenance, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis functions.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn database querying.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
