We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team in the Lafayette office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases
• Manage and organize case files
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Prepare discovery requests and responses, letters, and requests for documents (including medical records)
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, court appearances, and client meetings
• Other relevant responsibilities, as necessary

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Basic accounting skills
• At least 5 years of personal injury secretarial or paralegal experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Passionate about helping others and dedicated to excellence

Compensation

• Compensation is commensurate with experience
