ABOUT THE AGENCY

We are an experiential marketing agency that creates sportswear and beauty brand moments people actually remember. From large-scale activations to high-impact campaigns, we partner with brands to build presence, drive engagement, and generate results that go beyond the moment. Our marketing team is the engine behind how we show up in the world, and this role sits at the center of it.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Tara Wilson Agency is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and creation behind our own digital presence: growing our audience, our voice, and our reputation across every platform we show up on. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who thinks like a strategist and executes like a creator: planning paid and organic campaigns, building the systems that support them, and personally producing the newsletters, social content, and video that bring TWA's work to life.

The focus is growth, reaching new audiences in an engaging way, and turning attention into a stronger, more visible brand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Growth Strategy & Campaign Planning

  • Own audience growth: build and lead a strategy for growing TWA's digital audience across paid and organic channels, from initial concept through measurement.
  • Expand our reach: plan campaigns that introduce TWA's work to new, relevant audiences while identifying where those audiences already spend time and how to engage them authentically.
  • Build the systems: stand up the lightweight systems, calendars, and workflows needed to keep strategy, content, and reporting connected.

Content Creation & Production

  • Own newsletter content: write and produce TWA's newsletter, developing a voice and cadence that keeps our audience engaged and coming back.
  • Lead video production: shoot and edit video content for social and web, translating TWA's activations and culture into compelling short-form storytelling.
  • Plan the content calendar: develop and maintain a content calendar spanning social, newsletter, and web to keep output consistent and on-strategy.

Social Strategy & Audience Engagement

  • Drive social strategy: set the strategy with the help of the Director for TWA's social presence, platform mix, voice, and content types. Quick adaptation to platform algorithms and audience behavior is a plus.
  • Read the data: use platforms like Hootsuite and Rella to capture social and content analytics to understand what's resonating and continually refine the approach.
  • Spot what's next: stay ahead of emerging platforms, formats, and trends, and bring forward ideas for reaching audiences in new ways.

    Analytics & Systems Management

    • Report on growth: track and report on key growth metrics including audience growth, engagement, and newsletter performance. Use them to inform ongoing inbound strategy.
    • Stay connected to systems: maintain a working knowledge of the CRM and marketing automation tools that support inbound and audience data, even if day-to-day platform ownership sits elsewhere.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • A strong point of view on how to grow our agency audience and reputation across digital channels, and the writing and storytelling chops to bring that vision to life.
    • Hands-on video capture and editing skills, from shooting to post.
    • Comfort with social and content analytics, and the judgment to turn data into next steps
    • Familiarity with SEO, CRM systems, and marketing automation. Not a mastery of any one platform, but the adaptability to learn new tools quickly as they evolve.
    • Strong project management instincts; able to juggle strategy and hands-on production at the same time.
    • Excellent writing skills across formats: newsletter, social, video scripts.
    • A self-starter mindset; comfortable building processes where none exist yet.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 4–6 years of experience in marketing, content, or digital strategy, ideally including audience growth or brand-building work
    • Bachelor's degree (or sufficient experience) in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
    • Portfolio strongly preferred: priority will be given to candidates who can share a portfolio of past content, campaigns, or growth work. Think writing samples, video reels, social strategy examples, or similar.
    • Experience with project management tools (Basecamp or similar).
    • Basic familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma).
    • Experience with social media automation tools (Hootsuite, Rella, or similar).
    • Experience with basic web design tools and platforms (Squarespace or similar).
    • Understanding of basic SEO fundamentals and how content supports discoverability.
