We are seeking an experienced Client Service & Trading Operations Representative to join our headquarters team in Naperville. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys solving client service and trading issues. You will work directly with retail clients, self-directed traders, financial advisors, and automated trading clients, while supporting our trading operations and client service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to retail, self-directed, automated trading, financial advisors, and institutional clients.
• Support daily trading operations across equities, options, futures, and other products.
• Assist clients with Interactive Brokers (IBKR) platform questions and trade-related inquiries.
• Process trade corrections, account maintenance, money movements, and operational requests.
• Coordinate with clearing firms and internal departments to resolve client and operational issues promptly.
• Assist financial advisors with trading, account servicing, and operational support.
• Monitor daily trade activity and resolve trade exceptions accurately and efficiently.
• Build long-term client relationships through responsive, knowledgeable, and professional service.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of securities industry experience in client service, trading operations, or brokerage operations.
• Must be familiar with the Interactive Brokers (IBKR) platform, including client account support, trading functionality, and brokerage operations.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are preferred.
• Experience supporting retail clients, self-directed traders, financial advisors, or automated trading clients is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Candidates should be comfortable using Excel for trade reconciliation, reporting, and data analysis.
• Must be proficient with current technology and possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop applications and hardware.
• Experience using artificial intelligence (AI) tools, or a willingness to learn and incorporate AI into daily workflows to improve efficiency, client service, and operational effectiveness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and perform effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
