Architect or Designer

Brame Heck Architects is looking for a full-time Architect or Designer to join our team. This is not a remote position.

What we’re looking for (Qualifications)

• A Florida Registered Architect,
• A registered Architect able to obtain reciprocal registration in FL, or
• A designer who is on the path to registration in the State of Florida.

What we’d like you to have (Skills and Experience):

• Excellent listening skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency with Autodesk Revit
• Ability to flexibly manage multiple projects and schedules
• A proactive team-oriented problem-solver
• Experience working with Owners, User Groups, Engineering Consultants, and Contractors
• Experience managing projects from pre-design through post occupancy
• Client Development / Marketing Experience
• Experience in design, document preparation, project management, and specification writing

What you’ll be doing (Tasks)

• Meeting with Owners and User groups to coordinate design and program requirements
• Manage project teams for new construction and renovation projects
• Oversee and coordinate document development with BIM specialist(s)
• Work with consultants to coordinate project delivery
• Construction Administration
