Dental Hygienist

Role Overview: The Dental Hygienist is an essential clinical team member responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting the practice's care philosophy. They work autonomously within a supported professional corporation, providing preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene services.

Responsibilities Include

• Providing comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, cleanings, and patient education.
• Utilizing dental technology and procedures such as digital x-rays and medical history documentation.
• Collaborating with the dental team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintaining compliance with safety and health protocols, including CPR and TB testing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current dental hygienist license and relevant degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s).
• Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical documentation.
• CPR certification; experience with digital scanners, Velscope, Diagnodent, and electronic records preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and a passion for patient education and preventive care.
