Project Architect

Company Description: ddb Workshop is an architecture and development firm based in Baltimore City serving clients throughout Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. We are an award winning practice with a reputation as a firm with creative solutions for various typologies, including commercial, residential, multi-family, and forensic projects.

Role Description: The Project Architect will lead and coordinate architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring design intent is maintained and client goals are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and refining design documents, managing project schedules and deliverables, supporting permit processes, overseeing submittals and RFIs, and collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and internal team members. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• Professional License preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working at an architecture firm with a strong background in design and construction
• Understanding of building codes, documentation, and construction detailing
• Proficiency in Revit; Familiarity or proficiency with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, and 3D visualization
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site in Baltimore, MD as well as commute to site visits using personal transportation
