As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced, passionate Senior Strength Coach to join our team.
This is a coaching-first position designed for someone who can confidently coach independently, build meaningful relationships with members, and contribute to the continued growth of our coaching team.

Position Overview
This position is ideal for an experienced coach who is passionate about helping women become stronger and healthier while growing professionally in a leadership-focused environment.
The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time coaching members while also supporting coach development, scheduling, and select administrative initiatives that contribute to the continued success of Schlegel Training.

What You’ll Do
Coach & Inspire
* Lead small group strength training classes.
* Conduct private training sessions.
* Deliver safe, engaging, and high-quality coaching.
* Provide exercise modifications based on each member’s goals and abilities.
* Build meaningful relationships that motivate, encourage, and empower members.
* Help women gain confidence through strength while creating an exceptional coaching experience.

Lead & Support
* Help onboard and mentor new coaches.
* Promote consistency and excellence across all coaching sessions.
* Assist with coach scheduling and class coverage.
* Help maintain the high coaching standards our members have come to expect.
* Serve as a positive leader within the coaching team by leading through professionalism, accountability, and example.

Contribute to Growth
* Assist with administrative projects that support the coaching team.
* Help with social media and marketing initiatives.
* Assist in developing coaching resources and educational content.
* Contribute ideas that improve the member experience and strengthen the business.
* Support special events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of strength coaching or personal training experience.
* Current nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent).
* CPR/AED Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
* Strong understanding of strength training principles, proper exercise technique, and progressive overload.
* Experience coaching clients with varying ages, fitness levels, and physical limitations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to confidently coach both individuals and small groups independently.
* Reliable transportation and flexibility to coach mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
* Ability to demonstrate exercises and safely lift equipment up to approximately 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related field.
* Experience coaching women in a small-group training environment.
* Experience working with prenatal, postpartum, menopause, or youth populations.
* Nutrition coaching certification or experience.
* Experience creating educational or social media content.
* Previous experience mentoring or developing other coaches.
* Familiarity with TeamUp or similar client management software.
