Data Analyst (III or Sr)

The Data Analyst is responsible for interacting and impact all parts of the business by identifying, designing and developing data analytics. This role will perform a meaningful role in establishing an efficient, automated, repeatable process to extract and analyze large sets of data by developing tools, techniques, metrics and dashboards for insights and data visualization. The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with business partners as you challenge conventional thinking and traditional ways of operating are keys to success!
Responsibilities/Expectations
- Diagnoses data problems and proactively anticipates and prevents problems; devises, facilitates agreement and makes recommendations for sophisticated issues that cross organizational boundaries and are unclear in nature
- Researches the underlying data needs of business partners and recommends options with cost benefits
- Applies multiple approaches to data quality assurance and testing, documents outcomes and reviews with business partners
- Leads initiatives and programs to meet and exceed customer’s expectations
- Researches organizational and professional data trends and networks internally and externally on areas of concern
- Collaborates with business partners in identifying operating needs, issues and solutions with data and leads actions to enhance business function standards and performance
- Seeks opportunities to improve, streamline and reinvent work processes and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience
Data Analyst III
- Required: Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three (3) years' related experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five (5) years’ related experience
Data Analyst Sr
- Required: Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five (5) years’ related experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and minimum of seven (7) years’ related experience
Other Requirements
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Knowledge of Database, SQL, Power BI, data analysis, data mining, data transformation
- Experience with Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing environments
- Preferred: Knowledge of the industry and multiple business functions
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to visualize data to convey information and results clearly
, This position is responsible for building models, generating insights, business intelligence reporting and advanced analytical model development, including the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence tools specific to business needs. This position also contributes to the development of Williams models and resulting insights to identify opportunities. Additionally, this position interfaces with stakeholders in the business to understand business needs in order to develop appropriate solutions. This position will act as the technical leader on the team and will deliver technical solutions to the business that drive business value and performs duties independently.
