Responsible for facilitation and maintenance of information related to Surgical Services department data in the areas of charge/revenue, passive tracking process, quality control and improvement, to maintain an acceptable level of accuracy and performance on assigned specific duties related to functionality. Provides support for the Perioperative Services Service Line. This position provides administrative support, project management, and coordination of meetings and office activities, as well as, maintains the creation and maintenance of all departments administrative files; responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Responsible for efficiently communicating by phone, written correspondence, and email; ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered in high quality and timely manner. May direct and lead the work of others. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the core values of Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC. The employee shall support Anaheim Regional Medical Center’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. Education/Training/Experience

Minimum three years experience in an administrative role, experience in hospital setting preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Typing 60 wpm required

Advanced computer skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Software

Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written

Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Exhibits excellent customer service to staff, physicians and co-workers; shows courtesy, compassion and respect; conforms to the critical service standards established for the department and hospital.
