Warehouse Custodian

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Facilities team as a Warehouse Custodian. This role will primarily focus on warehouse cleaning across all operational zones, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Duties include pulling pallets, sweeping up debris, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6 AM until 2:20 PM

Pay: $17.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Pull pallets as needed to clean underneath and around warehouse storage locations.
• Sweep up debris throughout all warehouse zones, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas by removing debris, trash, and other obstructions from aisles, pallet slots, and work zones.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, brooms, and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
• Clean racks, pallet slots, warehouse floors, fire systems, fire extinguishers, windows, office restrooms, and breakrooms as assigned.
• Mix cleaning solutions to appropriate strength, replenishes soap, towels, tissue containers, and performs related tasks.
• Clean outside areas as needed.

Required

• Work independently.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Read and understand cleaning instructions.
• Work on ladders and in confined areas safely.
• Work in different temperature zones for sustained periods of time, including dry, cooler, freezer, and negative-temperature environments.
• Understand and operate all required cleaning and warehouse equipment safely, including scrubbers, pallet jacks, buffers, and scissor lifts.
