Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Boise, ID (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems for complex industrial facilities, including semiconductor, laboratory, and mission-critical environments. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on design expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems.
Provide technical leadership, mentor design teams, and perform quality reviews of engineering deliverables.
Prepare electrical specifications, construction documents, and bid packages.
Review vendor submittals and coordinate with contractors during installation and commissioning.
Support construction activities, perform site inspections, and complete punch walk activities.
Collaborate with clients, owners, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams to develop project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in project planning, proposals, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering from an accredited university.
Professional Engineer (PE) License with the ability to obtain licensure in Idaho.
12+ years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial or commercial facilities.
Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow analysis.
Experience with electrical equipment specification, vendor submittal review, and field coordination.
Ability to support construction activities and work effectively in active construction environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
