PATIENT SAFETY ASSISTANT REGISTRY

The entities of Sinai Chicago collectively deliver a full range of quality inpatient and outpatient services, as well as a large number of innovative, community-based health, research and social service programs. The Patient Safety Assistant is responsible for providing direct supervision and companionship to patients as a safety measure to prevent suicidal, behavioral, and medical patients from harming themselves.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and assigned patient.

• Must demonstrate calm, pleasant demeanor

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

CNA Certification

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

• PREFERRED CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN, OR RELATED HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE

• BLS

• CPI

• Minimum 1 year acute hospital /healthcare setting experience.

• Must be able to complete training module prior to first assignment.

Location: SHS · HCH HCH NURSING STAFF

Schedule: Call/Registry/Per Diem, Days, 6:30am to 7:15pm
