Background

At Aurelian, lawyers and paralegals collaborate to solve our clients’ problems. That includes federal and state litigation, as well as criminal, civil, regulatory and independent investigations. Aurelian paralegals work closely with lawyers and other paralegals to manage both litigation and investigations, including eDiscovery databases, to conduct research, to prepare exhibits, to communicate with clients, adversaries, witnesses, and government officials, and to draft and edit pleadings, motions, briefs, and other materials.

Requirements

This role is open to candidates with at least three (3) years’ litigation paralegal experience, including eDiscovery experience, with a bachelor's degree or associate’s degree from an accredited college or university. Candidates must have the highest ethical standards, be able to work closely with others, be organized, and be detail oriented.

Preferences

· eDiscovery collection, processing, and production;

· eDiscovery platforms, such as Everlaw and Relativity;

· eDiscovery protocol development and implementation;

· Federal or state litigation filing;

· Factual or financial research and analysis;

· Exhibit and trial preparation;

· Notetaking; and

· Editing.

Arrangement

This is a hybrid, remote-first position. The candidate must be able to come to work, as needed, in our office in Pittsford, New York.

Salary and Benefits

The anticipated annual salary range for this full-time position is $62,500 to $75,000, with the possibility for overtime pay. Aurelian offers an excellent benefits package including four (4) weeks’ vacation per year, a 401(k) plan, and superb healthcare insurance plans covered nearly in full by the firm.
