We are seeking an experienced and motivated Special Events Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support all facets of Special Events for Player 15 Group, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.
Your Role on the Team
- Help with administrative duties such as preparing event materials, managing RSVP lists, developing run of shows, event budgeting, and updating event documentation.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other departments on various requests within each event. (e.g. marketing, creative, building operations)
- Support on-site event activities, including setup, breakdown, and managing event flow. Ensure that all elements of the event run smoothly and according to the plan.
- Work closely with inter-departments and third-party vendors to support member and partner events, hospitality and in-market activations.
- Provide exceptional service to event guests, including greeting attendees and addressing inquiries.
- Regular travel in-market to support department (e.g. vendor/client pickups and drop-offs)
- Participate in post-event evaluations to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
Your Skills And Experience
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality is a plus but not required. A genuine interest in the events industry and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed based on event schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is an advantage.
- Commitment to providing high-quality service and creating a positive guest experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be a college junior, senior, or enrolled in a master’s program
- Pursuing a hospitality, event management, or sports related degree (preferred)
