About The Role

We are looking for a Software Developer (C++ – Desktop GIS) to join a small, high-impact engineering team working on LP360, an industry-leading desktop platform for LiDAR and geospatial data processing. This is a full-stack desktop role where you will contribute across the application — from core data processing algorithms to user interface — in a product used worldwide for surveying, infrastructure, and drone-based mapping workflows.

What You Will Do

Design and implement new features in the LP360 desktop application
Maintain and improve stability (crash fixes, reliability)
Optimize performance of key LiDAR data processing tools
Integrate external SDKs
Contribute to UI/UX improvements (MFC/Codejock)
Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams

Technical Environment

Languages: C++, Python
Frameworks: MFC, Codejock
Platform: Windows desktop
Build systems: MSBuild, CMake
Domain: LiDAR, photogrammetry, SLAM, geospatial processing

Requirements

3–8 years of software development experience
Strong C++ proficiency
Experience with Windows desktop development
Ability to work across UI and backend
Strong debugging and performance skills

Nice to Have

GIS, LiDAR, or 3D data experience
MFC familiarity
SDK integrations experience
Python scripting skills
