Program Manager – CMO
Mfused
ABOUT MFUSED
Mfused is a high-growth cannabis manufacturing company built by operators, not spectators. We design, produce, and scale cannabis products in one of the most regulated and operationally complex industries in the United States.
Execution matters here. Precision matters. Compliance matters.
Cannabis does not operate like traditional industries. Banking is harder. Tax treatment is different. Compliance is constant. The companies that succeed are the ones that move fast, stay disciplined, and build systems that scale.
Mfused is built by people who take ownership. We value thoughtful strategy, but we reward execution.
As we expand across markets and manufacturing partners, we are strengthening the systems that allow our products to move efficiently between our internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
THE ROLE
The Program Manager – CMO owns the operational coordination between Mfused and its Contract Manufacturing partners. This role ensures materials, documentation, production planning, and compliance requirements move accurately and efficiently between Mfused and external manufacturing partners.
This position serves as the operational control point between Mfused, its manufacturing partners, and internal teams to ensure products move through the supply chain accurately, compliantly, and on time.
This role may directly supervise and manage shipping and receiving teams at Mfused operated sites.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- External Manufacturing Operations

- Monitor partner performance and proactively resolve operational issues impacting timelines or inventory levels.
- Order Management & Inventory Coordination
- Enter and manage sales orders related to CMO partners.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments between Mfused, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Partner with the Inventory team to validate inventory accuracy and ensure proper material flow.
- Ingredient & Component Coordination

- Manage and maintain the Mfused Accounting Tracker for CMO partners.
- Prepare end-of-month operational documentation for internal reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain product compliance documentation including Certificate of Analysis (COA), ingredient lists, and batch documentation.
- Cross - Functional Coordination
- Serve as a central coordination point between Product, Compliance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Communicate testing requirements, documentation updates, and product changes to manufacturing partners.
- Ensure third-party partners follow Mfused operational and compliance standards.
- Operational Issue Resolution
- Act as the internal point of coordination when B2B partners experience order delays or fulfillment issues.
- Investigate root causes across inventory, production scheduling, and logistics to resolve delivery disruptions.
- Communicate updates and corrective actions to internal teams including Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Identify recurring operational breakdowns and recommend process improvements to prevent future disruptions.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In this role, success means manufacturing partners always have the materials they need to operate, internal teams have clear visibility into shipments, production timelines, and documentation, and compliance documentation is always organized and audit-ready. Production disruptions caused by miscommunication or missing materials are minimized.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, product operations, or vendor management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; no degree required.
- Strong organization and documentation discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple operational workflows simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills across internal teams and external partners.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance documentation such as COAs or product batch records is helpful but not required.
- Be at least 21 years old.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
As Mfused expands its external manufacturing network, operational coordination becomes increasingly critical. This role ensures production partners, internal teams, and inventory systems remain aligned, so products move from planning to production to delivery without breakdowns. Over time, this position can grow into broader product operations leadership as the organization scales.
