SUMMARY
To process interstate, intrastate, and international child support cases involving enforcement, registration, and telephone calls with child support enforcement agencies in other states, counties and countries. Respond to other miscellaneous requests, i.e., status updates, etc. and perform related clerical work.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent; additional course work beyond high school preferred.
- A minimum of three years’ experience general clerical procedures and functions and similar court experience preferred.
- Computer and data entry skills; knowledge of PACSES computer system preferred.
- Ability to work on Microsoft TEAMS and/or ZOOM for meetings and trainings.
- Strong professional communication skills (written and verbal) and effective organizational skills. Strong math and/or accounting skills preferred.
- Must be able to sit, reach, bend, stoop and stand, perform repetitive motions over long periods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review mail alerts on PACSES computer system, from various reports or referrals.
- Contact employers to inquire about wage-attachment related issues.
- Review and contact interstates agencies to request appropriate enforcement action.
- Receive and respond to calls, e-mails and other correspondence from employers, other courts, and co-workers regarding case processing matters.
- Review client, employer, and other court mail for any necessary action.
- Generate court notices and documents, make copies, and disburse, file or mail documents as appropriate.
- Review incoming mail requests for registration of orders for enforcement or modification, apply UIFSA/IFSA procedure/policy to each request.
- Prepare/compile outgoing registration packets for enforcement to be sent to other states, counties or countries.
- Process incoming and outgoing transactions through CSENet for cases, including but not limited to enforcement, registrations, and miscellaneous transactions.
- Process incoming requests to redirect payment to another state child support agency; generate and process court orders for change of payee.
