Crossover
- W2 salary of $120,000 per year with weekly pay, plus immediate access to medical, dental, and vision coverage starting day one
- Position based on-site at an Alpha campus in one of the following locations: Bethesda, MD; Boca Raton, FL; Boston, MA; Greenwich, CT; Malibu, CA; Miami, FL; Miami Beach, FL; Palm Beach, FL; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Barbara, CA. Relocation assistance is available.
Traditional schools focus on meeting standards. Your role is to push students beyond what they think they can achieve.
Students carry untapped potential that often exceeds their own expectations. When faced with difficulty, many educators reduce expectations. Your approach is fundamentally different. You understand that genuine confidence emerges not from empty encouragement, but from guiding individuals to accomplish what they previously believed impossible. If you have a track record of refusing to allow a student, athlete, participant, or mentee to give up on themselves, this work aligns with your philosophy.
Alpha has redesigned education around one core principle: artificial intelligence excels at academic delivery, while exceptional people excel at transformation. Core academic content is delivered through AI-powered adaptive learning platforms. Your responsibility centers on cultivating what technology cannot—discipline, resilience, communication skills, personal ownership, focus, and the conviction that challenging pursuits have inherent value. Your days won't involve lesson delivery or paper grading. Instead, you'll coach students through obstacles, acknowledge meaningful progress, and guide them toward accomplishments they previously considered beyond reach.
Approximately 60% of your time involves facilitating dynamic, hour-long life skills sessions covering subjects such as public speaking, concentration, leadership, and constructive feedback exchange. Roughly 30% is dedicated to individual and small-group coaching, leveraging Coachbot analytics to determine which students require encouragement, accountability, or modified approaches. The final 10% focuses on data analysis, coaching strategy refinement, and preparing students for continued growth. You'll begin with established workshop structures, then enhance and expand them as you identify more effective methods for inspiring students.
Performance metrics are clearly defined. A minimum of 90% of your students should regularly meet weekly academic targets, demonstrate proficiency in Alpha's life skills via Test2Pass evaluations, and provide ratings of at least 4 out of 5 for their experience with you. Consistent achievement of this standard creates advancement opportunities to Lead Guide, where you'll mentor other Guides, and ultimately Campus Lead, overseeing the culture and outcomes of an entire school.
This position does not suit individuals seeking to lecture, adhere strictly to predetermined curricula, or simply occupy student time. It's designed for coaches, mentors, youth program leaders, performers, tutors, and educators whose definition of success centers on student transformation. Each finalist completes a full day of coaching actual Alpha students prior to receiving an offer. If that prospect appeals to you more than conventional interviews, we're eager to connect.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating energetic, hour-long life skills sessions for students in grades K-8, building communication abilities, resilience, concentration, leadership, and other enduring capabilities while constantly enhancing the workshop delivery.
- Providing individual and small-group coaching using Coachbot analytics, customized accountability measures, and Alpha's motivational frameworks to support every student in reaching challenging weekly objectives.
- Evaluating life skill proficiency through Test2Pass assessments and delivering focused coaching until each student exhibits authentic competence beyond mere attendance.
- Adjusting your coaching approach for elementary and middle school age ranges, recognizing when younger students need physical activity and positive reinforcement versus when older students require direct accountability.
- Reviewing weekly performance metrics to detect trends, eliminate barriers, and consistently enhance results across your entire student group.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Providing traditional classroom instruction. Academic teaching is managed by AI, allowing you to concentrate on student development.

- Seeking permission before supporting a student in difficulty. You possess the independence to respond promptly and take necessary action.
