Director of Operations - Wet / Dry Mechanical Construction - High Tech Markets - Boise, Idaho

Gryphon Oakwood are currently partnered with a rapidly growing Industrial and Commercial Specialty Contractor, who are seeking a Director of Operations to lead all Wet/Dry MEP operations supporting High Tech Construction markets in Boise, Idaho.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced mechanical construction professional who can oversee operational delivery, develop high-performing teams, and drive the continued growth of the business across the High Tech sector.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience within mechanical construction, MEP, or specialty contracting.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing Wet and/or Dry Mechanical operations.
• Strong understanding of commercial or industrial mechanical construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects, teams, and operational functions.
• Demonstrated experience with project financials, forecasting, scheduling, and manpower planning.
• Strong client and General Contractor relationship management skills.
• Experience within High Tech, Data Center, Semiconductor, Advanced Manufacturing, or similar markets is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Boise, Idaho.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Mechanical Construction / MEP.
• Proven leadership of Wet & Dry Mechanical Operations.
• Experience managing PMs, Superintendents, and field teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, and Mechanical Systems.
• Proven responsibility for P&L, budgets, forecasting, and project performance.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• High Tech, Data Center, Semiconductor, or Mission Critical experience preferred.
• Strong client and General Contractor relationships.
• Proven ability to build teams and drive business growth.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Boise, Idaho.
