Sales Professional

Specht Newspapers is looking for a self-motivated advertising sales representative to build lasting advertiser relationships for the Bossier Press-Tribune and Biz Magazine. This role is about more than closing a sale — we're looking for someone who can grow a real, recurring book of business across print, special sections, and digital.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and close new advertising accounts across Bossier City and the surrounding area, with a focus on recurring, ongoing partnerships — not just one-time placements
• Manage and grow relationships with our existing loyal advertiser base
• Sell print, special section, and digital/website advertising packages
• Represent Specht Newspapers and Biz Magazine in the local business community

What We're Looking For

• Someone who already knows, or is eager to know, Bossier City's business community
• Sales experience preferred; confidence and self-direction matter more than a resume
• A relationship-builder, not just a closer
• Strong communicator, reliable, and genuinely likes people

Compensation: $47,000–$64,000+ total (base + commission, based on performance). $28,000 base salary, plus 12% commission on one-time/special-section sales and 15% on new recurring accounts, plus a monthly gas allowance. Uncapped — strong performers building a real recurring client base can exceed this range.
