Arias is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Materials Technician to join our team. This role involves supporting construction and quality assurance projects through precise data collection, material inspection, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory testing, construction site operations, and quality control processes. The Materials Technician plays a vital role in ensuring materials meet project specifications and safety standards, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects with a focus on concrete forming, masonry, and construction inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory testing and quality control assessments on construction materials, including concrete and masonry components
  • Perform quality inspections on materials delivered to the site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contracts
  • Collect and analyze data related to material properties, performance, and durability for ongoing projects
  • Assist with construction site inspections to monitor adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Support construction teams by providing technical guidance on concrete forming, masonry work, and other material-related tasks
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and analysis reports for project documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve material-related issues promptly
  • Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate results

Experience

  • Laboratory experience in material testing or quality control is highly desirable
  • Construction site experience, particularly with concrete forming, masonry, or general construction activities
  • Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and data collection methods in a construction environment
  • Familiarity with contracts related to construction materials and inspection processes
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret test results and identify potential issues early in the project lifecycle
  • Prior experience with construction inspection or related roles involving concrete or masonry work is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in dynamic environments

Experience

  • Construction Materials Testing Field: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification

  • Driver's License - must be in Good Standing.
