Estimator

We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Estimator to join our growing team in Raleigh. This role is critical in driving the success of our commercial construction projects through accurate cost analysis, competitive bidding, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. If you have a strong background in commercial construction estimating and enjoy working in a fast paced, team driven environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground up and renovation commercial projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Develop and maintain project budgets and pricing models
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors
• Participate in bid reviews and presentation of estimates to leadership
• Track and analyze historical project data to improve estimating accuracy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction
• Proven experience with projects such as office, retail, healthcare, or multifamily
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
