We are hiring for a hybrid day and nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

  • Join our team of 22 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers at PeaceHealth St. Joseph in Bellingham, Washington.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from an accredited physician assistant program.
  • Board-certified/eligible physician assistant.
  • Active PA license or eligible to become licensed in Washington.
  • Experienced clinicians are preferred, but we are open to new grads and will offer in-depth training/onboarding.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

  • This role has a hybrid day and night schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Our hospital bylaws allow PAs to practice independently to the full scope of their licensure.
  • Provide comprehensive medical care and post-operative care.
  • Admit patients and perform rounding as needed.
  • Work alongside an MD and another APP.

Rewards And Compensation

  • Base annual salary is $170,000+.
