Dispatch Supervisor

WE’RE HIRING – DISPATCHER/SUPERVISOR

Brown Transportation is looking for a smart, motivated, computer-savvy person to join our aggregate dispatch team in Oklahoma City!

This is NOT your average “answer the phone and send trucks” job. We’re looking for someone who can think, problem-solve, learn quickly, and figure things out. You’ll work with drivers, customers, sales, maintenance, and management to keep things moving — sometimes when things definitely do NOT want to move.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Excellent Excel skills — this is a big one!
• Comfortable researching information on the internet and finding answers
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Someone who takes initiative and can work independently
• Willingness to learn the aggregate trucking business
• Willing to participate in our on-call rotation
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred — but not required.
• Leadership potential — this position is intended to eventually grow into a Dispatch Supervisor role

Dispatch experience is a plus, but it isn't everything. If you’re exceptionally sharp, good with computers, great at problem-solving, and willing to learn, we want to hear from you.

Starting Salary range $60,000 - $80,000 (based on experience and aptitude) +bonuses
