Supervising Psychiatrist (Visa Sponsorship - J-1/H-1B)

Practice Setting: Outpatient / Integrative & Interventional Psychiatry

Reports To: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide advanced outpatient psychiatric care while serving as a clinical leader within an integrative and interventional psychiatry practice. This role combines direct patient care, medication management, provider supervision, clinical consultation, and program development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Diagnose and treat complex mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with emphasis on harm reduction and minimizing polypharmacy
  • Order and interpret laboratory, pharmacogenomic, and cognitive assessments
  • Prescribe and oversee Ketamine, Spravato (esketamine), and TMS treatments
  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight to NPs, PAs, and therapists
  • Serve as collaborating physician for NP/PA practice agreements when applicable
  • Consult on complex/high-risk cases and participate in peer review
  • Support provider training, clinical protocols, quality standards, and program development

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Unrestricted medical license; Colorado license preferred
  • Active DEA registration
  • Eligible for commercial and government payer credentialing
  • Fluent in English and proficient with EHR systems
  • Experience supervising NPs/PAs preferred
  • TMS, Ketamine, Spravato, or other interventional psychiatry experience preferred
  • Outpatient psychiatry and telehealth experience preferred
  • Clinical leadership/program development experience preferred
