Compensation: $69.00–$79.35/hour

Annual Salary: $143,520–$200,000

Work Setting: In-person / Onsite

Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Dosimetrist to join its Radiation Oncology team in Grand Junction, CO.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans that deliver prescribed radiation doses

• Obtain and/or supervise patient data collection, including contours, localization files and CT scans

• Coordinate simulations and tumor localization procedures

• Perform dose calculations and maintain accurate radiation therapy charts

• Supervise therapists in implementing treatment plans

• Assist with beam-modifying devices and brachytherapy procedures

• Calculate isodose distributions and assist with radioactive source management

• Provide technical support to the Radiation Physicist

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

3 years of dosimetry experience under the supervision of a dosimetrist, medical physicist or radiation oncologist, or equivalent experience

Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) credential from the American Association of Medical Dosimetry

Current/active required credentials

Strong knowledge of radiation treatment planning
