ONE Gas (OGS), a premier natural gas distribution company, is looking for a Commercial Development Intern to join our team in Tulsa, OK. ONE Gas is looking for students who not only excel in the classroom but also have strong integrity, work ethic, character, adept communication, and interpersonal skills. ONE Gas Commercial Development interns will receive challenging and exciting project assignments as well as opportunities to network with other interns and leadership. You will be placed within departments and given the opportunity to experience the type of work they might encounter in a full-time position through projects, on-the-job assignments, job shadowing, and presentations.

What You Will Do

• Support development and evaluation of natural gas infrastructure projects for power generation and other large load customers.
• Research market trends and assist the team with market development efforts to maximize revenue growth.
• Support development, negotiation, and administration of commercial agreements in Oklahoma markets.
• Participate in job shadowing of identified company personnel to become familiar with business unit operations and job functions.
• Become familiar with business unit organizational hierarchy, reporting structure and operating procedures.
• Review applicable Federal, State, and local guidelines and regulations as relative to business operations.
• Participate in team building activities with fellow interns, within office and field settings.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
• Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

Ideal candidates are:

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration, preferably graduating in December 2027 or May 2028.
• Enrolled at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, or University of Tulsa.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Involved in extracurricular activities, community service, or leadership roles.
• Experienced through prior internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer work.
• Excel at cross-functional collaboration, have strong communication skills, enjoy solving complex design challenges, and have a track record of delivering practical, business-friendly solutions.

Compensation: All ONE Gas internship positions are paid. We offer a fair and competitive pay rate.
