Constellation Culinary group is Hiring an Exec Sous Chef in a premier Corporate Dining setting. The position is based at a luxury corporate account in New York, NY. The Sous Chef will lead a team of foodservice professionals in a high-end, professional dining environment. Previous catering experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

Menu & Recipe Development: Develop menus that align with customer tastes, nutritional guidelines, ease of preparation, and budget constraints; participate in purchasing specifications and recipe testing.

Food Preparation & Execution: Direct and participate in the daily preparation of standard and gourmet food items.

Quality & Safety Assurance: Maintain production, safety, and sanitation standards; inspect raw ingredients, finished products, food appearance, and service quality.

Candidate Requirements

Proven background in restaurant, hotel, or institutional cooking with experience in high-volume production.

3 to 5 years of management experience in a culinary role.

Strong leadership along with solid written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage annual budgets and control operating costs.

A Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Institutional Management, Nutrition, or Dietetics—or an equivalent combination of formal culinary training and experience.

Pay & Benefits

Salary Range: up to $130,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
