Associate Veterinarian opportunity in San Diego, CA with a well equipped, AAHA accredited small animal hospital.
We are working on behalf of a well-established small animal hospital serving the San Diego, CA, community for over a decade, now looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to join a team of two experienced veterinarians.
The hospital is equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and cold laser, alongside a large dedicated dental suite and surgical suite. AAHA accredited, with a strong focus on Fear Free handling, this is a practice built around doing great medicine without cutting corners.
Both full time and part time schedules are available, with hours running Monday through Saturday and Sundays off. You will be joining a collaborative, teaching focused culture where curious, lifelong learners are genuinely valued, and where client and colleague relationships are built on trust rather than volume.
Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on experience, with additional variable pay potential. This is a strong fit for a DVM who wants modern facilities, a manageable caseload of dogs and cats, and a team that will actually back you clinically and personally.

About You
- DVM degree from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain it
- Committed to practicing a high standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
