Location: Erie, PA

Take ownership of sophisticated automation projects from first concept through a fully validated machine. My client is seeking an accomplished engineer to lead the technical development of custom machinery, robotics, tooling, and integrated automation that solves complex manufacturing challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead machine design, build, validation, and documentation
• Create designs, drawings, BOMs, concepts, and estimates
• Coordinate designers, vendors, purchasing, and manufacturing
• Serve as the primary technical contact
• Guide integration of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems

About You

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Expertise designing and building automated machinery
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and/or NX; AutoCAD preferred
• Strong GD&T, drafting, and machine-shop knowledge
• Knowledge of automation components; FEA familiarity is a plus
