Position: Travel RN Emergency Room

Location: Lubbock, TX 79410

Pay rate: $61/Hour

Weekly Pay: $2,196/week (Based on 36 hours)

Shift: Nights | 3x12 | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Duration: 13-Weeks Travel Contract

KTI Health is seeking an experienced RN Emergency Room for a travel assignment in OH, OK, TX and NM. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Emergency Room RN with strong Level II Trauma, stroke, and emergency care experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Care for patients with stroke, STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, trauma, respiratory conditions, and other emergency presentations
• Perform patient triage, assessment, monitoring, and emergency interventions
• Manage IV therapy, central lines, ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP, and IV vasopressors
• Recognize and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and other emergency conditions
• Follow stroke, trauma, infection prevention, and patient safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide timely emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience — hard stop
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with a patient ratio of approximately 1:3
• Epic charting experience required
• Must have experience with emergency care, triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
• Travel experience is not required for candidates with more than 2 years of ED experience

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• Valid Compact or Texas RN license must be in hand at submission
