We are seeking a talented and self-driven Business Litigation Associate with a minimum of 3 years of Complex Commercial Litigation or Bankruptcy Litigation experience to join our growing team. Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Minimum 3 years of Complex Commercial Litigation and/or Bankruptcy Litigation experience required
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting substantive motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
- Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating effectively with a litigation team
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue pleadings, dispositive motions, and other substantive filings
- Conduct and defend depositions and manage all aspects of discovery
- Appear in state and federal court proceedings
- Assist with trials, arbitrations, and evidentiary hearings
- Advise clients regarding litigation strategy and risk assessment
