Senior Accountant

A well-established and growing Arkansas organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team.

This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys technical accounting, financial reporting, and playing a key role in helping leadership make informed business decisions. The Senior Accountant will work closely with an experienced finance leader and gain exposure to a wide variety of accounting and operational activities across the organization.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 and includes exceptional insurance benefits, strong retirement matching, and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Support annual audits and collaborate directly with external auditors
• Research and resolve accounting issues while ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Work cross-functionally with departments throughout the organization
• Assist with special projects and technical accounting matters as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Experience supporting audits and financial statement preparation
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
