We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial construction projects in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing subcontractors, site logistics, schedules, safety, quality, and day-to-day construction activities from project startup through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from startup through project completion
  • Manage subcontractors, field personnel, site logistics, and daily operations
  • Maintain project schedules and short-interval production schedules
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, architects, clients, and subcontractors
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Ensure OSHA, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met
  • Identify and resolve field issues efficiently
  • Support both new construction and renovation projects
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Strong experience with commercial construction management and field supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Healthcare, K-12, or higher education construction experience is preferred
  • CMAR / Construction Manager-at-Risk experience is a plus
  • Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office
