Hiring: Configuration Developer – XML / FireLight

Location: Salt Lake City, UT – Remote

Experience: 1–3 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a Configuration Developer with strong XML skills and FireLight experience to configure and maintain business rules for a SaaS platform supporting financial product applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain business rules in FireLight
  • Develop and troubleshoot XML configurations
  • Work with Role Codes, Review Queues, Needs Determination, and mappings
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Support deployments and production issues
  • Troubleshoot tickets using Jira
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams
  • Use AI tools to improve configuration, testing, and troubleshooting

Required Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical/configuration role
  • Strong XML creation, editing, and troubleshooting skills
  • FireLight experience preferred
  • Understanding of SDLC and SaaS environments
  • Experience with Jira and related technical tools
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred

  • Experience with financial services, insurance, annuities, or life insurance
  • Exposure to Salesforce, Redtail, or other third-party integrations
  • Experience using AI-enabled development/configuration tools
