About the Position

Orr Financial Group is seeking a dependable, professional, and client-focused individual to join our financial services team. We are open to candidates with experience in financial services as well as highly organized administrative professionals who are interested in building a career in the financial industry.

Depending on the candidate's experience, licensing, and career goals, this position may be structured as an Administrative Service Representative/Client Service Associate or may provide an opportunity to develop into a Financial Advisor role.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, comfortable working with clients, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a professional office environment. Financial-services experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary based on experience and licensing and may include:

  • Provide friendly, professional service to existing and prospective clients
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with day-to-day office operations
  • Prepare paperwork and assist with opening, maintaining, and servicing client accounts
  • Process client service requests and follow up on outstanding items
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  • Assist advisors with preparation for client meetings and account reviews
  • Communicate with investment, insurance, and financial-services companies regarding client accounts
  • Assist with seminar, client event, and marketing activities
  • Help maintain regulatory and compliance-related documentation
  • Identify client needs and direct questions or opportunities to the appropriate advisor
  • For appropriately licensed candidates, assist with investment discussions, financial planning, client relationship management, and business development

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Professional, dependable, and highly organized
  • Comfortable communicating with clients by phone, email, and in person
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures
  • Able to handle confidential financial and personal information appropriately
  • Comfortable learning new technology and financial-services systems
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through without constant supervision
  • Interested in developing a long-term career with our firm

Previous experience in banking, investments, insurance, accounting, financial services, or a professional office environment is a plus.

FINRA SIE Exam preferred but not required

For an individual interested in pursuing a Financial Advisor career, willingness to obtain appropriate securities and/or insurance licenses may be required.
