Houston Methodist Baytown is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist with ERCP expertise (EUS preferred) to join an established team of four general GIs. This is a unique opportunity to be the only advanced endoscopist in a rapidly expanding market, backed by Texas’ #1 hospital system and one of the Top 3 Best Large Employers in the U.S. (Forbes, 2025).

Practice Highlights

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Call: Equally shared with general GI colleagues

Facilities: 4 dedicated GI suites with expansion plans underway

Referral Network: Strong, built-in pipeline from Houston Methodist PCPs, surgeons, and oncology teams

Support: Dedicated APPs and fully staffed clinic and endoscopy teams

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Fellowship trained in Advanced Gastroenterology

Eligible for a Texas medical license or currently licensed in Texas

Open to both experienced physicians and graduating fellows

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Call: Equally shared among General Gastroenterology colleagues

  • Established Referral Base: Robust referral network from Houston Methodist primary care physicians, surgeons, and oncology specialists

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Fellowship-trained in Advanced Gastroenterology
