Location: Bakersfield, CA

Salary: $95,000–$115,000/year

Shift: Day or Night Shift Available

We’re partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to hire an experienced Production Manager to oversee shift operations, lead a production team, and drive safety, quality, efficiency, and production performance.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Lead and develop a production team and hold the team accountable for results

• Oversee daily production activities, staffing, training and performance

• Ensure food safety, quality, GMP and housekeeping standards are met

• Monitor production costs, waste and downtime

• Troubleshoot automated machinery and partner with Maintenance to resolve issues

• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and communicate effectively with the team

• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting experience

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP or food safety regulations

• Experience managing shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• High school diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred
