I’m currently supporting an Am Law 100 firm in Charlotte that is looking to add an experienced Real Estate Litigation Associate to its team.

This is a strong opportunity for a commercial litigator looking to join a sophisticated national platform, work on complex real estate disputes, and gain meaningful responsibility within a highly regarded practice.

I’m particularly interested in attorneys with experience across areas including:

• Commercial Real Estate Litigation
• Commercial Landlord-Tenant Disputes
• Commercial Foreclosure Litigation
• Contract and Lease Disputes
• Motion Practice
• Discovery and E-Discovery
• Courtroom Advocacy
• Real Estate Enforcement Matters
• Creditor-Side Litigation
• Complex Commercial Disputes

The role will involve representing clients across a broad range of real estate-related disputes, with a particular focus on commercial landlord-tenant matters, foreclosure litigation, and other complex commercial real estate disputes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Experience handling motion practice, discovery, and e-discovery
• Courtroom experience
• Commercial landlord-tenant litigation experience
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and related court filings
• Commercial foreclosure experience, or a genuine interest in developing in this area
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• A self-motivated and proactive approach
• An active North Carolina law license, or the ability to become licensed in North Carolina

Experience gained within a large regional, national, or international law firm would be particularly advantageous.

Candidates should be based in, or willing to relocate to, the Charlotte area and should be comfortable working from the office at least three days per week.
