Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Medical Disability Evaluator

Location: Shreveport, LA

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule: Flexible | 2-5 days per week

Session Duration: 8-hour sessions

Work Schedule: Weekdays and weekends (flexible)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Licensed Psychologists to perform high-quality disability compensation evaluations in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.

This is an evaluation-only role and does not involve prescribing medications, active treatment, or ongoing continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and structured disability compensation evaluations.
  • Assess and document clinical findings accurately using standardized templates and guidelines.
  • Prepare clear, evidence-based medical opinions and causation analyses.
  • Review relevant clinical information and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure evaluations and reports comply with federal, state, and organizational requirements.
  • Complete documentation accurately and within required timelines.
  • Conduct patient assessments through virtual telehealth platforms as applicable.

Qualifications

Required

  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP).
  • Active and unrestricted professional license in the state of residence.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified, as applicable.
  • Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using technology and virtual telehealth platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage evaluation requirements.

Work Environment

  • Secure, private, and quiet workspace.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Ability to conduct evaluations in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
  • Comfortable providing assessments through telehealth technology.
