We are seeking a Director of Emergency Services who is passionate about maintaining a culture of camaraderie, high-acuity clinical excellence, and approachable leadership. our ED manages everything from high-acuity trauma and environmental emergencies to seasonal surges driven by our vibrant tourism and outdoor community. We are looking for a decisive, critical-thinking RN leader to guide our team through these challenges while fostering the "family" atmosphere we are known for.

Supportive Leadership: As Director, you will embody our "open-door" policy, providing a safe space for staff to decompress, celebrate wins, and voice concerns.
Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Emergency Department.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Must-Have Requirements
Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement
Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school
BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care certifications
Emergency Department nursing and proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Master's degree (nursing or relevant field)
