Lead Power Electronics Engineer

We are hiring for our client for a Lead Power Electronics Engineer in Peoria, Illinois.

Job Description & Skill Requirements:

• Own and execute NPI and NTI programs, including CCS and MCS charger development.

• Collaborate with end customers and suppliers while leading cross-functional engineering teams.

• Develop and manage program and product requirements.

• Conduct competitive studies, benchmarking, and technical analysis.

• Work closely with Software, Hardware, Validation, Field Support, Product Support, Commercial, Purchasing, Product Safety, and Compliance teams.

• Lead supplier down-selection, evaluation, and coordination.

• Drive product design, development, integration, and validation activities.

• Support product commissioning and provide technical support to field teams, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Develop and execute product validation strategies and plans.

• Lead and support DFMEA and PFMEA activities.

• Define detailed product requirements in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulations.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute product validation activities from development through final verification.
