Customer Account Manager

Our client is a custom control panel manufacturer providing engineered automation, electrical, and building control solutions for a range of commercial and industrial applications.

Location: Eau Claire, WI - onsite role

The Customer Account Manager owns assigned customer relationships from opportunity through delivery, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted partner. This role focuses on growing revenue, understanding customer needs, coordinating tailored solutions across internal teams, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts.
• Develop account-specific strategies to deepen relationships and expand business within existing customers.
• Proactively identify new opportunities, applications, divisions, locations, and contacts within assigned accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, building strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within customer organizations.
• Understand both immediate customer needs and long-term strategic goals, translating those insights into tailored solutions and internal action.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams while maintaining clear account activity, opportunity, and growth visibility through the CRM and established KPIs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base =$70,000 - $90,000
• Year One Compensation: Base salary; no formal commission structure currently in place.
• Profit Sharing/401(k): Eligibility begins in Year 2
• 3% Safe Harbor company contribution
• Based on company profitability and goal achievement, an additional profit-sharing contribution of up to 12% may apply, for up to 15% total annual contribution.
